This Fall we did the usual "Fall" activities- lots of baking, pumpkin carving, hayrides, etc. One of my favorite things that we did this Fall was take Jackson to his very first University of Georgia football game! He absolutely LOVED it! We left right after school on Friday to head up to Athens to stay with our good friend, Ben. Ben is Adam's best friend. He went to college at ABAC with both Adam & I. After their two years at ABAC, he and Adam both transferred up to UGA to finish their Forestry degrees. We love Ben and try to see him as often as possible. Jackson also loves his "Uncle Ben" and he especially loved Uncle Ben's house with a pool and two very playful dogs! Jackson was filled with excitement when we got in the car to head up to Athens- and that excitement didn't stop all weekend! He loved walking around Athens and the beautiful campus that is UGA, but most of all- he loved the football game! We had an awesome time and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience for him. Adam & I love our Georgia Bulldogs and that love has certainly rubbed off on Jackson! We got to eat at "The Grill" (where Adam and I spent many a late, fun nights about 10 years ago), walk around campus, take pictures with Daddy in front of his alma mater- The Warnell School of Forestry, see the arch, ring the chapel bell, go to the Dawg Walk and get high fives from all of the players- including Aaron Murray- Jackson's absolute FAVORITE, talk to the cheerleaders, see UGA and Hairy Dawg, sit on the 9th row of the 30 yard line and eat tons of junk food! Although the game did not end the way that we'd hoped (the Dawgs were defeated by Mizzou), we couldn't have asked for a better time! Here is our Fall 2013 in pictures. :-)
On the way up, we stopped to take a picture in front of the "famous" barn on Hwy. 15. They paint a new saying on the side at the start of every football season.
With his Daddy in front of The Warnell School of Forestry. I can't believe that it's been 10 years since he last went to class through those doors.
Adam & Ben, both proud alums of Warnell and UGA. Maybe one day Jackson will follow in their footsteps?
Waiting on the "Dawg Walk" to begin!
The sweet cheerleaders that Jackson was too shy to take a picture with! ;-)
And....here they come! With Hairy Dawg and Aaron Murray leading the way!
Tailgating with "Auntie T"! A few of our close friends from home were tailgating nearby, so we had to stop by and hang out for a while.
Family picture with port-a-potties in the background....nice.
When we first got into Sanford Stadium, Jackson was in AWWE!
Adam was loving every minute of sharing this with his little boy!
LOVE the redcoat marching band!
Waiting on the Dawgs to run out!
Here they come!
Such awesome seats!
At the Arch
Ringing the Chapel Bell!
Lunch at "The Grill" :-)
We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back next year! GO DAWGS! The rest of our Fall was full of fun, as well. Jackson played another fun season of soccer and Adam was one of the assistant coaches, again. They had a great time! I always love going to watch Jackson and all of his best buddies out there kicking that ball around....never a dull moment! ;-) As always, for Halloween, we went on our neighborhood trick-or-treat hayride and had the best time! Jackson was a Ninja this year and he thought that he was too cool for school. ;-) He could hardly fill his bucket with candy for all of the Ninja moves that he was doing! For Thanksgiving we went up to Charlotte, North Carolina, to stay with Adam's Aunt Joy and Uncle Bedford and the rest of the McCullough clan! It was a really GREAT time! We lost Adam's Mema McCullough late this summer, so we wanted to make sure that his Benpa was surrounded by happiness and love while going through his first holiday season without her. She was such an amazing, special, woman of God... and I know that her heart was full as she looked on from Heaven. :-) Here are the rest of our pictures from this past Fall...

Having fun in downtown Charlotte!
Now that I've finally finished our Fall post, it's time to catch up with Christmas and onto present day. Now that I'm on bed rest (that will be included in another post), maybe I can make it happen? For now, it's a beautiful sunday and I'm about to sit on the back porch and watch Adam & Jackson play baseball. :-) Happy Sunday!
