Spring 2013....my LAST catching up post! :)

Well, I have finally made it to my last catching up post!  Here is our Spring 2013 in pictures.  We had a great Spring!  We enjoyed the beautiful weather, celebrated our Risen Savior at Easter, had lots of egg hunts, celebrated my 31st birthday, and Jackson played soccer for the first time!  This was a big deal, because it was his first time playing any type of organized sport.  Soccer is the only sport that you can play at the age of 3 around here.  Adam was the Assistant Coach of his team (although he's never played soccer in his life!)  Jackson loved having his Daddy as a coach!  It took a couple of games for him to warm up and get out there to actually play, but once he did....he did great!  He was the only 3 year old on the team, the rest of his little buddies were already 4, but he did awesome and made us so proud!  Maybe he'll be a soccer star like his Momma?!  No, not really.  I played soccer in high school, but was by NO means a star! ;)  Anyway, here is our Spring 2013 in pictures...enjoy!

We played lots of backyard baseball :)

Jackson telling his Buddy, Gunner, that "he's going DOWN!"  I had to explain to him that they're on the same team. ;)

Adam trying to talk Jackson into going in the game. :)

GO JACKSON!!

Or, sometimes it's just more fun to lay across the bench ;)

"Which way are we going?!"  THAT WAY!  Coach Travis telling the team which goal they were headed for :)

He puts a whole new meaning to the role of the "Goalie" ;)

J throwing in the ball, after it was kicked out of bounds :)

Good throw, Buddy!  He even followed the rules and kept both feet on the ground!  Go Jackson!

Trying to get the ball from the other team!

Getting his trophy from Coach Travis, after his last game of the season :)

Hanging out with cousin Georgia Grace at Mema & Papa Taylor's house, down in Folkston!

Teaching Gigi all about trains :)

Telling her the proper name of all of the parts...

This happens daily around here.  Let's just hope it stops when he starts Pre-K in a few weeks!

The annual oyster roast with the Taylor side of the Family :)

Gigi watching Jackson play Angry Birds, I'm sure!  The boy needs to go to Angry Bird rehab. ;)

As always, we had plenty of weekend popcorn & movie nights!

The Easter Bunny visited!

We worked hard on decorating and coloring Easter eggs!

And got dressed in our Sunday Best for Church :)

Then had an Easter photo shoot ;)

Such a little rascal! ;)

Sporting some of his new gear that he got from the Easter Bunny!

Egg hunt with all of the cousins at my Granny & Papa Dykes' house!

Look at all of these BOYS!  Someone needs to add a girl into this mix! ;)

He is Risen Indeed!!

We still do LOTS of tractor riding :)

For my birthday weekend, we went down to Folkston.  So, they all took me to one of my favorite places on Fernandina Beach to eat lunch....Sliders!

With my precious Hubbs- photo taken by: Jackson ;)

I love this sweet boy to the moon & back!

With my Sissy, who is giving me another nephew, Noah, in September!

When we got back from Folkston, my parents had a birthday dinner for me at their house.  So I got to celebrate twice! :)

Jackson and his beloved Mrs. Ruby!  He has officially "graduated" from Mrs. Ruby's and will be starting full-time Pre-K this August.  We LOVE this sweet lady and her husband, James, like family!

Headed to Mrs. Ruby's for the last time :(

What am I going to do with him? ;)

Now that I'm caught up all the way to our Summer, I hope to get a post or two in before we head to Amelia Island on Saturday, for seven whole days of relaxation and fun in the sun!  Right now, we're about to start getting ready to head to the movies with Mimi (my Momma).  We're going to see Turbo!  I'm not sure who is more excited.....Jackson or his Mommy?!  I love me some good children's movies! :)  Happy Thursday!
