I just wanted to take the time to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the BEST Momma (and Mimi) in the world! If I can only be HALF of the Mother that you are, I will call it a day. :) I LOVE YOU VERY, VERY MUCH!
Love,
Your baby girl
And do you see WHY I love this woman so much?? This is a picture of us all dressed up for "Mismatch Day" at work (don't we look FABULOUS?!) So, not only is she a wonderful Mother, she knows how to have FUN! (She is probably going to kill me for posting this picture. hehe. Love you, Mom! ;))
Welcome to our family blog! This is the monthly ramblings of what is going on in our day-to-day lives. It's not always very interesting, but it's a great way to document our precious memories. Because I am terrible at actually maintaining a "baby book" for Jackson & Jude, this blog serves that purpose. I hope to one day have it printed and turned into a memory book for us and our children . I hope you enjoy! :)

More pictures of Jackson :)
Sorry guys, these posts are a little out of order. These are pictures that were taken a few months ago, and I TRIED to post them on my blog at the time (with no luck.) So, I just saved them as a draft in my posts and totally forgot about them. I came across them today and decided to try again, and it worked (YAY!) This is when Jackson was first going through his phase of insisting on feeding himself, since these photos were taken, I can assure you that he has gotten MUCH better at actually landing the food in his MOUTH. ;) P.S. I promise that I am working at becoming more blog savvy. ;)

Trick-or-Treat!
Here are some pictures of our little pumpkin. He had so much fun this Halloween! Adam was out of town for work, so we spent the evening at my parents house (aka-Mimi & Papa's house.) In their neighborhood, the kids do a "Trick-or-Treat Hayride" and we were invited. Jackson had a BLAST! He thought riding on a Tractor, or "BRRMM BRRMM", was the most fun! It didn't take him long to catch on to the whole trick-or-treating deal. He watched the big kids and followed along, holding his pumpkin bag out, watching the candy drop in, looking down into his bag, laughing with approval and then walking off. It was hilarious to watch! Of course, his mean Mama didn't let him have any of the candy (that went to the Treasure Box in my classroom), but he never knew the difference and had a blast anyway! :) He also LOVED his pumpkin costume and thought it was hysterical in the mirror. On another note, Adam and I went to Athens this past weekend for the UGA game. It was a baby-free weekend with old memories and even older friends. We had a GREAT time! It was fun to pretend that we were college students again, only to find out that we are most definitely not! We learned that although it may seem like it was only yesterday that we were living in Athens and hanging with the best of them, in our minds, our bodies tell us differently. ;) But it was great to get away together, and have some hubby & wifey time in a place that holds so many wonderful memories for us. Have I mentioned how much we miss that place?? P.S. I have also included some cute pictures of Jackson, around the house, taken over the past couple of weeks. Have a great weekend! Today marked my "Friday" and I am going to fully enjoy my 4 day weekend...woop woop!

And MORE pictures!
I have GOT to figure this thing out! Here are the last of the pictures...Jackson playing "cars" with his cousin, Matthew, just a few nights ago. So cute! (still trying to figure out these videos!)
I am a TERRIBLE BLOGGER!
Well, friends. I have done it again. I have let another YEAR go by with no post! Let's face it, I am a terrible blogger. I'm pretty sure that the fact that I have one follower (hello Paige:)) has a lot to do with my lack of motivation to update our blog. You see, I am a Facebook girl and I'm pretty sure that most of my friends are completely unaware that I even HAVE a blog! But, I do think that blogs are super cute and I really enjoy reading other people's, so I am going to vow to do a better job at keeping our blog up-to-date. :) With that said, here are a few very recent pictures of our little J-man! He is now 15 months old and growing bigger, faster, smarter, more independent, stubborn, strong-willed, determined and FUN with each passing day! He recently went for his 15 month well-check and was in the 50% in weight and the 70% in height. He LOVES playing with "big boys" (like his cousin, Matthew, who is in town visiting from Las Vegas) and would live outside if we would allow it (he is ALL BOY!) He has recently began INSISTING on feeding himself completely. He wants absolutely NO HELP and let's you know exactly what he thinks if you dare try to help him! He is growing into his own little person and I LOVE IT! Even if the days of my "super laid back" baby are gone, I am loving the days of my "super busy" toddler! He continues to bring such JOY to our lives every day!
See my boo-boo? I took a nose dive in the nursery at church...ouch!
